DrugCard was back at World Patient Safety Congress Europe this month – we go every year, and this time we had a lot to talk about: an AI Agent that’s categorized over 400,000 articles since launch, a full two days of client meetings, and a side event that’s turned into one of our favorite traditions.

Booth 507: AI Inside, Experts Behind
Our booth this year was built around one idea: AI Inside, Experts Behind. The AI Agent scans and categorizes literature from global and local sources around the clock, while PV specialists still make every decision that actually requires judgment.
Representing the company on the ground were Dmytro Horilyk (Co-Founder & CEO), Christina Kiselova (Head of Sales & Partnerships), Diana Budkevych (Head of Marketing), Olha Lysiuk (Head of PV Department), Anastasiia Shapovalova (Key Account Manager), and Karyna Shevchuk (HR Manager & Executive Assistant).

What the AI Agent Has Been Doing
DrugCard’s AI Agent is a built-in automation layer that categorizes literature directly inside your project. Teams choose how much to trust it, across three levels: screening for PV relevance, suggesting categorizations for review, or applying them automatically. Every run stays fully visible on a live dashboard and logged to the audit trail for regulatory traceability.
Since launch, the Agent has categorized over 400,000 articles – roughly three months of literature screening PV teams no longer have to do by hand. Most literature turns out to be non-relevant, and the Agent handles that first pass automatically, so PV teams can spend their time on genuine safety signals instead.
More Conversations Than Expected
We ran into a lot of our own clients on the show floor this year – people we’d only ever emailed with. One of them put it simply:
“First of all, we are really happy with our collaboration. The DrugCard solution is very well received by the entire team, and we greatly appreciate working with you.”
Beyond that, we spent most of the two days talking to PV professionals about what’s actually working in their process, what isn’t, and what they wish existed but doesn’t yet. That kind of feedback is hard to get any other way, and it’s already shaping what we build next.
A Side Event That Keeps Growing
After day one, we hosted our own side event – interactive games, good conversation, away from the congress floor. Over 30 people showed up this year. It’s become a bit of a tradition at this point, and the group keeps getting bigger. If you want in next time, reach out.
Until Next Year
We`re back home now, with new contacts, a long list of feedback to act on, and plans already forming for next year’s return to World Patient Safety Congress Europe.
