We are excited to announce that DrugCard has officially joined the European CRO Federation (EUCROF) as an Associate Member.

About EUCROF
Founded to represent the Contract Research Organization sector at the European level, EUCROF brings together CROs and specialized service providers from across the continent. The federation engages directly with key regulatory bodies – including the European Medicines Agency (EMA) – contributing position papers, participating in consultations, and helping shape the regulatory environment for clinical research and pharmacovigilance in Europe. EUCROF members range from large multinational CROs to boutique specialized providers, creating a diverse and highly professional network.
Pharmacovigilance is a core pillar of EUCROF’s activities. More than 50% of its member organizations deliver PV services, and the federation runs a dedicated Pharmacovigilance Working Group (PVWG) that meets monthly to discuss regulatory updates, technical standards, and industry collaboration.
Why EUCROF?
Before joining, our CEO Dmytro Horilyk presented DrugCard’s mission and capabilities to the EUCROF community – outlining our hybrid position in the PV space: an automated literature monitoring platform combined with direct pharmacovigilance services in the Baltics. The response confirmed that our profile resonates well with the federation’s members and working groups.
What’s next?
We are joining the Pharmacovigilance Working Group, chaired by Zurab Koberidze, Director of Pharmacovigilance at FGK Pharmacovigilance GmbH. One of the group’s current initiatives is finalizing a position paper on AI in pharmacovigilance – a topic we are deeply invested in and hope to contribute to meaningfully.
We see EUCROF membership as an opportunity for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and building long-term relationships with CROs and specialized PV providers across Europe.
Stay tuned for updates from our participation in the PVWG and upcoming EUCROF activities.
